Why not visit one of Scotland's Greatest Historic Treasures? Newbattle Abbey (near Edinburgh, Rosslyn & Temple) over the week-end of Friday 13th April to Monday 16th April 2012. Day visitors may come for either Saturday 14th April, Sunday 15th April - both - or to individual events that you select yourelf. Additional Private sessions are held for those present after Diner Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Held in one of Great Britain's most beautiful Drawing Rooms, in a building with 11th Century Cistercian Crypt and Chapel, beautiful 17th Century carved woodwork, set in over 100 acres of gardens with as boundary, the Esk River, referred to in Scott's Tvanhoe'. Come along while it is still possible.

Starting from 09.30 until about 18.30 £25.00 including a free lunch. Members £22.00 plus a discount on book purchases - new and second-hand - including a sale of some rarer books. Good Accommodation can be arranged at low cost for those wishing to stay overnight - perhaps to visit the near-by beautiful city of Canterbury with its famous cathedral and its associations with nearby Templar Sites and churches, second only (and some say first) to Carcassonne.
Newington is just off the M20 motorway or the A20 to Dover; and for those travelling by car, a free car-park is available. Otherwise, Folkestone Central Railway Station is just three miles..
